Stock Market Learning is a Europe-wide initiative
of the savings banks and the European Savings Banks
Group (ESBG). It is addressed primarily to pupils and
students.
Registration is possible only via one's local savings
bank.
Following registration, the savings bank will activate
the account, give the participants access to it and
provide them with virtual starting capital.
There is a selection of max. 200 securities. These
can be traded via the account.
Sell orders will be settled before buy orders.
Orders which are incomplete, implausible or cannot
be effected due to insufficient capital will not be
executed.
A maximum of 20,000 euros can be invested in a security.
Any account with more than 500 orders will be disqualified.
Participants will receive statements at the halfway
date and at the end. Interim account notifications will
be issued two weeks before the halfway date and two
weeks before the end of the competition.
Participants who have not placed at least three security
orders by 10:45 a.m. on the next-to-last day of the
competition will be disqualified.
The winning participants are those who have the highest
total account value or the highest sustainability yield
at the end of the competition.
The contents of an account do not have to be sold
at the end of the competition.
The detailed rules will be available during the competition
and are binding on all participants.
